Core Strength for Climbing Workshop Monday June 15...

Would you like more strength riding your bike uphill? Are you ready to ride better out of the saddle and save time doing it?

Ready to learn the only three exercises you need to get stronger to climb better?

If this sounds like you, then join us for the "Core Strength for Climbing" workshop Monday June 15,2026 from 6:30-7:45pm at Premier Spine and Sport in Eagle located at 36 North Echohawk Lane, Suite 104B, (next door to Provisions Barbering). It is the second to last unit on the right hand side after you enter the parking lot. Please call/text me at 650-224-4354 if you have any trouble finding the venue.

Here's what you'll learn by attending the workshop workout:

  1. Why your current levels of core strength are, and how to improve them.
  2. The only three exercises (and their progressions) you need to create a stronger pedaling platform.
  3. A simple (by no means easy) strategy that is as simple as it is effective to build cycling specific core strength.

Here’s the format for the evening:

  • 6:30-6:35 Introduction
  • 6:35-6:50 Self movement assessment to find your where your strength/mobility gaps are and how that might be factoring into what you experience playing. This includes looking at the most critical factor in riding well: you diagonal loading patterns.
  • 6:55-7:35 Cycling specific bodyweight core strength workout. So please wear comfortable exercise clothing and be ready to move.
  • 7:35-7:45 Cool Down Q&A

Here's the bottom line to improve the way you ride: If you don't have a rock solid pedaling platform (core strength + hip stability) off your bike, you won't be able to push a crank arm down with as much force as possible when you're on it.

Put another way, if your spokes (arms and legs), aren't connected to your hub (core and hips), your wheel doesn't spin true (give you strong powerful movement). It is no different for muscles moving bones in or out of the saddle.

Space is limited to the first CURRENT 10 LAC Members who register with the link below. RSVP ASAP to reserve your spot!

Attendees will receive a 30-minute complimentary movement discovery session to help you find out where your current levels of core strength and mobility (aka flexibility) are and what you can do to improve them.

With the right core strength approach off the bike, you might just get faster uphill, give your friends a lot less rest at the top of each climb, ride more efficiently and have a lot more fun in the saddle. I'm excited to help you do that!
