The Lactic season opener party is this weekend! We'll kick it off with a somewhat non-traditional gravel route. A little bit of road riding, a bit of gravel, and a bit of single track. The plan is to ride up 8th street, boogie over to Bogus Basin road via Corrals trail, ride the Hawkins loop, then take Shaw Mountain road up to Shanes Loop and back into Military Reserve. If you've not ridden the single track trails in the Boise area, this might be a little more technical than you're used to but more than doable on a gravel bike. No rock gardens, might be some sandy spots though.

The ride will wrap up with a nice little party in the Military Reserve parking lot. All the other Lactic ride groups will wrap up in this parking lot, and food and drinks will be provided. Please, bring a chair to relax while you socialize with others. Should be a fun little party!
